  1. Once the season begins, do you require reservations for individuals to come pick?
How many students/ chaperones are considered a field trip? (Homeschooled families)
    Thanks for the info!

    • Hi Ronda,
Sorry for the delayed response. No reservations required to come and pick apples. I’ll get back to you on the field trip questions. We are still working out logistics if we are going to offer field trips this year. Depends on size of crop. We will know more in the beginning of Sept.

We hope you are able to visit us this year!

  2. Is there an actual ‘Tehachapi’ apple variety? When I was a kid in the 60s my family would drive to the Tehachapi area to gather apples and was told of an actual variety native to the area. Was I being told a hogwash story?

    • Hello,
to the best of our knowledge there is no Tehachapi variety. Back in the day we had a lot of orchards that featured the Red Delicious Apple, your parents might have associated that with being a Tehachapi variety.

  3. Hi! I have never been apple picking but have always wanted to! I just heard about your place and very excited! Are you still open?

      Thank you
